All the Colours of the rainbow are rehearsing for their show, each with a characteristic song and dance – Red for danger, Orange for fun, cheerful Yellow, beautiful Blue, harmonious Green, shy Violet and moody Indigo.
Suddenly, the Monochromes arrive on the scene, blocking out the light and threatening to overshadow the colours with dark clouds. Just in time, the Sunlight breaks through and encourages the Colours and Monochromes to work together. Then a dramatic thunder storm is followed by a colourful rainbow, making the most spectacular show on earth!
Using the analogy of colours, 'Rainbow Spectacular' explores differences, similarities, cooperation, bullying, conflict and resolution.

Review: Perfect for a large number of children ...as each class could be a different colour. The children loved the catchy rhythms of the songs, they were easy to learn and the words delivered a good message as well! - Judith Borick, Music Director of Columba College production, New Zealand
