Assembly Show by Debbie Campbell
It is the Minibeast Midsummer Fiesta. Excited Bumblebees, Flies and Butterflies dance to the sound of Cicadas. Snails, Millipedes and Dung Beetles come out from their hiding places to join in. But behind a tree lurk Inspector Secticide and the Bug Squad, armed with fly swatters, nets and insecticide. How can the resourceful Minibeasts defend themselves?
Minibeasts play a vital role in our world, with many of them endangered. So it is vital that children are taught to appreciate these amazing little creatures, and what better way than with a song, dance, fun facts and photos!

I've got weird kind of buzzin' going on in my head
And I've got ants in my pants and a flea in my ear
I've got to get out of here...
