Thomas Fairchild had a garden in the East End of London. He experimented with cross-pollination and fruit tree grafting. There is still a school called Thomas Fairchild in the City.
This show appeals to children's natural love of flowers & gardens. It also gives them an insight into the very different lives and work of children over 200 years ago.
